[How Demons Work]
When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none. Then he says,"I will return to my house from which I came." And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order. Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there;and the last state of that man is worse than the first.(Mathew12:43-45.
There are "12" clues in the above Scripture on how demons operate.
-When an unclean spirit goes out of a man,he "goes through dry places"...here we see that demons can travel to different places.
-"seeking" rest and finds none...they seek which means they can see
-seeking "rest"...which means they get tired.
-then he "says"...meaning they can speak.
-I "will return"...meaning they can make decisions.
-to "my" house...meaning that they still think we belong to them, even if we don't. They still believe we do.
-from which "I came"...meaning they can remember from who they came out of. They have good memory.
-and when he comes,he "finds it empty, swept, and put in order"...meaning they observe well where they came out from.
-then he goes and "takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself...meaning he goes and gets help from 7 more spirits worse than he. He does not want to enter alone.
-and they "enter"...meaning they can go back into a person who has stopped serving the Lord.
-and "dwell there"...meaning they stay in that person.
-and the last state of that man is "worse than the first"...meaning that person with the 7+1first demon has now 8 in him and they put upon him more suffering than he has had before.
